Kiss a Door
by Nicholas Y. B. Wong

You gave
me a
closed space
and yourself
an open world.

The door
was slammed.
I kissed
it right away.
Even the lock
asked for more,
then the hole,
then the key,
the walls and
the carpet below.

I kissed
almost
everything
in the house,
but you
kissed
better. They
never
kissed back.
